Ode to Atari Frogger

A person in a motorized wheel chair
gets your attention—

plowing the sidewalk
like a tractor,

spinning at anchor
in the bay of a revolving door.

That joystick reminds you
of the arcades

in the lobbies of old movie theaters:
Pac-Man, Asteroids,

Centipede. Admit it:
you want to take one for a little spin.

You’d give both your good knees
for a test drive.
